The Maine Wood Heat Le Panyol Wood fired oven is similar to a campfire in many ways. Folks often gather around the oven to admire the beautiful copper dome asking many questions that spark story telling and ignite dreams.
The oven itself is a masterpiece and wonderful to cook with. The wide mouth allows for a large peel. The clay bricks inside heat evenly and maintain heat well. All food preparation is done in the oven using live fire, no fire, direct on embers and degrading heat.

~THE DOME~

Handcut metal segments artistically welded together into a weatherproof skin was our multi-purpose solution for functionally, as well as aesthetically, encasing the Le Panyol oven core. For the inaugural design, the dome shape was picked for the shell as it followed, and perfectly hugged, the rounded lines of the core itself.
