This cast iron damper from Finland fits perfectly in an 8″ x 8″ outside dimension clay or refractory flue tile liner. Inside opening measures 6.3″ x 6.3″. Damper handle can be easily shortened.
The frame does not extend through the brick work on Finnish dampers so we generally use a piece of stone to bridge over the handle.
