Le Panyol on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives!

This week, our client Ann Kim, owner of Pizzeria Lola in Minneapolis, was deemed a “Triple D All-Star” on the Food Network show ‘Diners, Drive-ins and Dives’ by New York Times best-selling author and famous restaurateur, Guy Fieri. Guy talks one-on-one with Ann about her wood fired artisan pizzas, her unique menu and culinary heritage.

Don’t miss Ann and her Le Panyol copper wood fired oven on the big screen!

I watched this episode tonight and it has inspired me beyond my wildest dreams to continue developing my own Pizza and bakeria. I am still in the beginning stages though know that the support is out there for me to make this dream of mine come true! I am absolutely in love with wood fired ovens and was amazed as to the quality and integrity of not only Lola’s restaurant, but the wood fired oven that she has sourced to create such epic culinary feats. I am grateful to learn of this company as I will be contacting you in the near future to purchase my first wood fired oven for the opening of my restaurant. Thank you so much for the love craft that you all share in co-creating together, as it is such a gift for me to know that the support and community is out there to make dreams like these manifest. So much gratitude. Thank you

Thanks for the Love Paery! Feels like that radiant warmth you get from the door of a Le Panyol while you’re tending the fire or a pizza. I’ll be happy to hear from you when you do get nearer to manifesting your dream! I wonder where this restaurant of yours will be located.

You are welcome Amy; you all deserve it!
I am actively sourcing the information I require to make this dream a reality and am holding the intention with resolve. I look forward to speaking with the team more fully when the time comes for me to acquire one of these ovens. I am currently based out of Arizona and may ground this vision there. It is also quite possible that it will sprout up somewhere else; it is all in the hands of the journey for me right now, and it is exciting to be finally focusing my energies towards making this childhood dream of mine come true. Thank you for your kind words and for your support.

Beautiful oven! My 13 year old son, Daniel, and I were watching a rerun of this episode last night, and I had to step out of the room. When I came back, he told me that they had said that a Maine expert had installed the oven, and he said “I bet it was Albie!”.

And, of course, he was correct.

Congratulations, Albie and family, on your continued success. Though we are still mourning the sale of our house, containing the most beautiful of heaters, we are thrilled with your efforts in expanding the use of these wonderful heaters and ovens. Keep up the good work!

    Sending love from the Berkshires.

      Hi Cathy,

Thank you for your kind comments. The oven in Pizzeria Lola is one of our largest commercial ovens containing a model 180 Le Panyol core. The copper enclosure is made by a local artist which is signed so it is a piece of art. We send out the entire oven as a package and then install it on site. The owner of Pizzeria Lola, Ann Kim, has really done an amazing job by combining her culinary talents with the performance of the oven, she is producing some pretty amazing food.

I got real nervous when she the oven cost more than Guy’s car…..great episode.

Thank you for your comment Jim. No need to be nervous, Guy’s car is gorgeous, but so is a copper clad Le Panyol wood fired oven that makes some amazing food and it’s well-worth it’s value. Cars depreciate over time, while our ovens continue to hold their value – burning efficiently, quickly and producing wonderful meals. I’m glad to hear you liked the episode, I still watch it occasionally!
