The Stone Turtle Baking and Cooking School is now accepting registrations for their 2010 classes. Offering-world class instruction from top bakers in the country, Stone Turtle is known as one of the premier baking and cooking schools in New England. Their hands-on classes include:

Wood Fired Oven Intensive:
Stone Turtle’s two-day Wood Fired Oven Intensive scheduled in April is already sold out, but they have started a waiting list for their October session. Their Wood Fired Oven Intensive will offer you a chance to try out one of our Le Panyol wood fired ovens first-hand, and their instruction will send you away with a comprehensive understanding of wood-fired oven baking and management.
Stone Turtle Baking and Cooking School is located in southern Maine, and is owned and operated by our good friends, Michael and Sandy Jubinsky. We built the Jubinsky’s wood fired oven back in 2006, and continue to keep in touch about all the wonderful things going on at their school.

We are also excited about hosting Richard Miscovich, formerly head bread baker at King Arthur Flour’s Bakery and now at Johnson & Wales University. Richard will be doing a 2 day (12 hour) bread intensive, March 26 & 27, that will prominently feature the Panyol.
