This is the only complete English language primer on hand-made masonry heater construction. The text covers from footing to chimney top and everything in between. It is complemented by step-by-step photos, course-by-course drawings, section drawings and elevations.

2. The AlbieCore™ Construction Manual, © 1995. This manual is fully illustrated with scale drawings and step-by-step color photos of five different heaters using the AlbieCore™ kit. The heaters include three brick heaters in rectangular, five-sided, and six-sided formats, as well as a cut granite cobblestone heater and a hand-made soapstone heater, the last two each having heated benches. This manual is highly recommended for anyone wishing to build with a core kit system.
